Encouraging Words from an e5 Single man

Why fast for our brides? Why fast for other women? Why fast for someone else's girlfriend, fiancé, or future spouse? It is a simple answer? Why not. Why not be able to do something filled with love and selflessness? Why not perform a sacrificial devotion to the countless gifts that God has given us? My wife, Janine, is a true God-send and I still, to this day, cannot believe I was blessed enough to take her hand in marriage. The least I can do for her and to show my extreme thanks for this wonderful gift from God is to go through the minimal "agony" of a day with only bread and water. It is a small price to pay for God's amazing, endless gift of His son for us. Each one of us could fast daily for eternity, and it still would never compare to what was given for our selfishness, our sins. Thank you e5 Men for allowing me the privilege to join with many other e5'ers to carry our own small cross.
